Monday night links

Blog Entry Add comments

It’s been a few days since I posted anything, been busy what can I say.

I am coming up on 3 weeks of being off all of my meds! I feel really good, actually a lot better than I have felt in a long, long time. I really think that the 2 years of Ambien every night had me kind of f’d up?! Not sure, but I think so. I actually go to sleep when I go to bed, I sleep through the night, my patience has at least doubled with the kids, and generally I just feel better. My heart palpitations are coming and going, but I am just trying to will them away!

I am a huge fan of Firefox, I use it for 99.9% of all of my web surfing. Actually, the ONLY time I use IE is at work for our intranet, and for our web based Exchange e-mail. If a site doesn’t work in Firefox, or does not display correctly, I just find another site. I hate sites that are written for IE, let’s write pages to conform to some agreed upon standards and we can all play by the same rules!

Anway, here is another fine link from Lifehacker! Easy info on adding a bunch of quick searches to Firefox.

I don’t think I posted this link, and of course I am far too lazy to go check. So, if this is a duplicate post, too bad ;-p EssentialPIM is a free, easy to use PIM. Sh0tzy says “dude, check it out”.

Seems as though everone has their own ‘thumb drive’, ‘flash drive’, whatever you call them, USB removable media device. If you have one, or even better, perhaps an older one you don’t use, you may want to check out Portable USB Apps!

I think that this link about how to hypnotize a chicken might come in handy this weekend while in Inwood!

We are heading out of town for Turkey Day, taking the boys to my grand parents house!
