I decided to grow some “upside down” tomatoes this year. You see, I love tomatoes, but my wife does not, which means she rarely ever buys any at the grocery store. I had read about growing vegetable in containers as well as growing tomato plants in 5 gallon buckets, but they were visually unattractive.

I opted for a quick post in the ground and 4 haning flower baskets. I planted 2 different tomato plants, 2 different bell pepper plants and a banana pepper just for good measure. So far so good! I can’t wait to have my first tomato sandwich this year!
