What a busy weekend. We worked hard and got a good deal done on my new office space. We put the carpet down, moved all of my furniture, and bunch of my “stuff”. I can’t believe how much stuff I have in my office. The new office space is really nice, I think I will like it much better than my old space upstairs. Laurie is going to take over the entire upstairs for her scrapbooking pursuits.

What a week. The travel to Kansas City was horrible! We left Akron/Canton at 4:30 pm, got to Atlanta at 6 pm (ya, why did we go to Atlanta on the way to Kansas City?). Right about that time a huge thunderstorm rolled in, it was pretty bad and ended up delaying flights all over the place. We ended up sitting at the airport until 12:30 am Monday! When we finally got on the plane, we sat there for about an hour, because they forgot to load our luggage! Then, there was no air on the plane, I was burning up the entire flight. We got to our hotel room at 3:00 am EST. Our project managers were gracious enough to move our start time back to 10:00 am. It was just an awful day, especially since we were diving into all the technical tools that we will need to run the Cerner system.
The planned (mandatory) ‘fun’ activity for Monday was putt putt golf, which I was really dreading big time! I got lucky because our VP was there and actually flew with us, during our wrap up meeting he announced that the evening was no optional! I was pretty happy to hear that! I went back to the hotel, got a burger and a couple of Boulevard beers, and was in bed by 8:15 pm! So, of course, the next day I find out that myself and one other guy from IS did not go, after everyone was bitching and moaning about going putt-putt they all eneded up going! Wimps!
Last night our mandatory ‘fun’ event was going to the dinner theater to see Funny Girl
To say the least I was friggin miserable! I hated every minute of it and did not even try to hide it. I sat with a couple of girls who like to party and we ran up a hell of a bar tab! I think I had more fun during my vasectomy!
I am glad we got tonight to do nothing. I ordered a pizza, got a couple beers from the QT accross the street and am chilling in my room tonight, which suites me just fine. I am glad we go home tomorrow. I am ready to be back at home.

I have been busy working on my new office while the family is out of town. The boys and Laurie are at Beth’s, having a good time.
Time for a big photo update. Just a bunch of photos.
I leave for Kansas City tomorrow, not really looking forward to being out of town, wishing I could stay home and finish my office, but I guess that will have to wait.

Well, I did it. I have been wanting to start a new domain, related to Clinical Informatics. Yesterday I went ahead and registered www.clinicalinfomatics.com! I am going to build a web portal, content, blog site to discuss issues relating to the new field of Clinical Infomatics and all it entails. My buddy Jason is going to host it on his server, and install the PHPnuke backend for me as well as handle the DNS for it.
I am off on 3 days vacation! Can’t believe it, and it really feels weird to not be at work. There is so much to do, but I really needed some time away from there to recharge my batteries. I also needed to spend some time with my family, the boys and Laurie are flying to Gloucester on Wednesday and I won’t see them again until I get back from V5 to Cerner!.
Saturday was Dylan’s 3rd birthday, can’t believe it! Seems like just yesterday we were bringing home a new baby from the hospital. It truly is amazing to watch them grow and be part of all that!

Let’s talk about time management, project managemet skills. I need some!

Last week SBC called and offered to double my DSL speed to 3 mbps, instead of the 1.5 I had, plus they lowered my monthly charge by $5! I ran a speed test today to see what was up.
Looks like I am not quite getting the 3 mbps, but pretty close!
Time for my link of the day (or two). WARNING! The game 5 finger fillet is not for you, it is gross, if I were you I would NOT follow that link (that means you Mom)!
Now for a tamer link, after you look at this website, Secret Worlds: The Universe Within, you have to stop for a second and just marvel at the enormity of the universe! “Our Milky Way galaxy of stars is so huge that even at the speed of light it would take 100,000 years to travel across it!”
This picture shows all the places in the universe that humans have been to.

Whew! Worked my tail off today! We got a 13 yard dumpster delivered and started cleaing house today! I know, it is absolutely crazy that we needed something that big, but we had a bunch of stuff to get rid of! I filled about 1/4 of it with old pc carcases from my “office” a.ka. my junk pile! The office is still in disarray but it is going to be much better now that I got rid all the crap up here. I kept bringing home old computers from work that were going to get thrown out with the intent that I was going to do something with them. Well, par for the course, nothing ever got done with them, they just collected dust bunnies and junked up my office space. Also, I am going to be moving my office to the basement and Laurie is goign to take over the whole upstairs for her scrapbooking. I’ll have a 12′x15 room all to myself!
I am totally addicted to Stumbleupon already. I have found a ton of interesting sites that I had never heard of before, nor would I have ever discovered them. I have been in a rut visiting the same old sites over and over, this is helping me find new stuff every day.
Wednesday, July 27, 2005
Check this link out, this is pretty freaky. Let the flash load, then click the start button at the bottom and click and drag to go forward or backward.
Tuesday, July 26, 2005
I just discoverd Stumbleupon, I did a quick Google on it and it does not appear to be full of spyware, which was amazing to me because it looked like a killer app that would be ripe for spyware scum!
I managed to hit the treadmill again at 5:30 am today! It really sucks doing it, or at least getting started, but once I have actually managed to do it I feel so much better. I am going to stick to the 5:30 am until Laurie goes back to work, then it will have to be 5 am so that I have time to do that, get myself ready and the boys and still hit the door at 7 am! By the time I get to work at 8:00 I will have already been up for 3 hours! The good news of the excercising is that it is helping me with my irregular heartbeat. I have not hardly taken any of the Inderal (sp?) since I started walking on the treadmill!

Hooray for the end of the week. Work was pretty rough this week, we are deep into testing, reporting errors, and getting ready for our Final Verification. I spent all afternoon Thursday and most of Friday entering service requests, one of the joys of being the ‘testing coordinator’!
Just got back from the kids fair over in Green. We did not have that much fun really it was hot out, I was by myself and that makes it REALLY hard to with the 2 boys! My sister was supposed to go, but for some reason she did not go, the lines were way too long for a 4 & 3 year old to stand in line. We did wait in one line, about 20 minutes, only to find out that Dylan was too small to go in the bouncy thing! He was pretty upset about that. They boys are catching a few minutes of Sponge Bob and then we are taking a nap.
Have you heard about the game invented by a student at Case Western Reserve? It is called Planarity, check it out, it is pretty fun and really taking off online. I hope he sells it someone and makes a ton of cash! Do you need some more games to waste time with?
This may be one of the greatest inventions ever? What do you think? I know from personal experience that the moment I take the little red straw off of the can of WD-40 it instantly disappears!

I just added a Google search box as well as Google adsense to my page. Who knows, maybe I’ll make a buck or two? HA! I really doubt it, but you do visit my site please click some links for me! I have to pay for my boys college education somehow!
If you happen by my site and you are coder, designer, general good hearted web-head and would like to offer some help redesigning my site feel free to drop me a note! I am never happy with my site design, but I am not a designer (obviously), and my page is self-hosted on a Windows server. I would really like a clean, CSS layout, but I just don’t have the time to learn the ins and outs of layout and design with CSS, so I stick with this simple, yet crappy design! HELP!
I am watching “School of Rock” right now, I really like that movie, Jack Black makes it work, he brings so much intesinty to the film, anyone else and it would have just been another silly Hollywood crapfest.

I started building my “collection” of stuff with MediaMan this morning before work. I still had an old CueCat in my junk drawer, and it finally has come in handy for something. I can scan the barcode with the CuCat and all the info is automatically entered for me! Another cool feature is that it can export your collection for you. Here (best viewed with IE for some reason) is the page it generated for the books I scanned in this morning.

I just read some great advice, a result of news from the recent London bombings. If you have a cell phone, and who doesn’t, put in some “in case of emergency” info, you never know what kind of crazy situation you might find yourself in some day.
This is amusing, but I am easily amused!
Monday, July 11, 2005
Seriously, what in the hell are people teaching their kids? I have never in my life…well, ok there have been a couple times, been so angry I wanted to go afer someone with a baseball bat, and yet this kid goes off after losing the 1st game of the season!
Have any of you started using Flickr yet? Seems there are a lot of cool things people are doing with it. Or if you just need an online place to store photos that is not going to beat you up trying to get you to buy prints of everything, Flickr is the place.
What else is new? I did some pc work for a lady the other day, my 3rd trip to her house. For part of her payment to me I took her nearly brand new Linksys 54G wireless router. Now I have 54G wi-fi upstairs and downstairs!
I am going to start selling all my pc equipment and anything else I can find to get rid of. I have 2 reasons for this; one is that I need to reclaim my office space from all the PC junk that I have been accumulating under the pretense that I was going to do “something” with it. The 2nd and more important reason is that I want to come up with about $1,000 to buy a used MAC with! Yup, I am ready to make the jump. I have found several nice used G4 Macs on e-bay, and I want one. For what I do at home, the MAC is obviously perfect, I am still sick of Windows. I am going to sell my iRiver MP3 player, a couple of complete pc’s, and then all of my misc. hardware.
This is a great use of company time!

Want to see someone having fun with a cat? I am sure all the cat lovers out there will hate that one, but it is pretty damn funny, and the cat is not getting hurt! I found that link on The Link Collection, as I am always on the look-out for new and interesting web sites. I seem to get stuck in a rut where I look at the same web sites all the time, so I am searching for new and interesting sites. You have some? Send me the link dammit!

Just a quick post to let everyone know I added some new photos. May through June from the digital. Some of the photos are from the outing to the Natural History Museum that Aunt Valerie took Collin on. We had a nice cookout and the Fritzsche’s, with Sandy’s world famous ribs. Dylan’s best friend, Andrew, had his 2nd birthday party. Yesterday we took a nice hike at Quail Hollow Park, we really enjoyed that, it was a beautiful day!

I have had a few people contact me regarding the Lockhart case that had not heard about it from the beginning. I am going to post a digital archive of everything I have accumulated so far. Mostly Adobe PDF documents as well as a few videos (remember to right click and “save as” to save the video to your computer)that I have ripped off of the Tivo.
Monday, August 22, 2005
Good news!! They caught Lockhart!! Man, AMW gets results on some of it’s cases!! I spoke to the US Marshal tonight; what he says is that they got a good tip on Sunday, flew out to California Sunday, did surveillance on the house Sunday night to confirm it was him and picked him up today! The Marshal said that Lockhart had his typical “cocky, arrogant, f’n” attitude! Can you believe that? I mean he is BUSTED, he is going to jail for a very long time and he is still posing his stupid attitude! I bet that all changes when he goes to prison and the inmates get to him. I asked someone who would know; and they say it is true; inmates do not like people that hurt kids and when they find out he raped a 4 month old he is done for!

The America’s Most Wanted show is profiling Lockhart tonight. I have no idea who the 2 people are in the video, they are in the shadows. I sure hope they catch him soon!
We got notice that the AMW was airing tonight from his ex, and she found out from his mom. AMW didn’t bother to tell any of us that it was going to be on. With the Fox new show, AMW, it was on some MSNBC show, the New York Post article, hell I even heard that Stern was talking about him…well John, you finally got your 15 minutes of fame, but that is going to end soon.

Dylan is fully recovered from his surgery, and is doing great. He can sleep/breath so much better at night now!
My first trip to Kansas City is over with, it wasn’t bad, but it was tiring for sure. Tuesday night we went to the Royals baseball game and sat in the Stadium Club for dinner and drinks, that was fun. I sat with the nurses that night, they are a riot! I have not laughed so hard for a long time, my face actually hurt by the end of the night!
I was interviewed on a live new show Sunday night regarding the Lockhart case! I was on Fox News “The Big Weekend Story” show. They interviewed the US Marshal, the Akron Police Detective and myself. Luckily I kept myself from getting too nervous or worked up over it. Man, they say the camera adds 20 pounds to your look? I think it added 40 to me! LOL, I know I am fat, but if that is how I really look I should never eat again! Bleah, the whole thing is weird.
There was a story yesterday in the New York Post about him. It is still a complete mind F to me that I know/knew him for so many years and he turns out to be pedophile. I have no idea if he ever checks my web site, but I wish he’d drop me an e-mail and tell me what the hell happened to him. We have not been real close friends for a while, but it still just bugs the shit out of me that he did this. Every day I feel so bad for his family and his kids.
My buddy Jason showed me how to rip files off of my Tivo last night, so my first project is going to be to edit the news show and get that on DVD. Why? Not sure really.
Monday, August 22, 2005 6:51 AM
Dylan is doing better, obviously not 100% yet, but today he actually went outside and played for a while, which was good to see. He started drinking and eating yesterday, so we know we are making progress with him. He sure has been a trooper through this, we are so proud of him!
Bad news: Laurie is down with strep throat! What a bummer on Mother’s Day, especially after the rough week she has had with Dylan! She is already about to go stir crazy from being locked up since Wednesday and now this!
One really great thing about this week has been that Collin and I have gotten to spend a lot of quality time together! We have gone to the park, out to eat, shopping for Mother’s Day gifts and we even finally made it to the theater to see “Robots” last night!
Monday, August 22, 2005 6:51 AM
Just a quick update; Dylan did great in his surgery! Everything went smoothly, and he came out of OR into PACU and really impressed the nurses. About an hour after the procedure he ate two popcicles and a little cup of Jell-O! They let us bring him home about 1:30 pm, he is ok, but in a good deal of pain. Laurie will be staying home with him through Sunday, and then we’ll have to take it from there.
Monday, August 22, 2005 6:51 AM
Well, my little guy is going to be having his tonsils and adenoids removed this Wednesday
Dylan is just too little to have to go through this right now! We took him to see his doctor last week because he has been having such an awful time breathing at night. He snores like a lumberjack, but he also does a lot of gasping and struggling for breath(right click and save to your hard drive). He has been suffering from sleep apnea due to his rather large tonsils. The doctor called them “kissing tonsils”.
Dr. Sterman says that his voice may change, he will have to learn to swallow all over again and his taste for foods may change. We are taking him to Children’s at 6:00 am this Wednesday for an 8:00 am surgery. Keep him in your thoughts. Laurie went out and stocked up on ice cream, Jell-O, pudding and a few other easy to eat items. She is going to be home with him Wednesday through Sunday, and my mom has offered to stay with him until he is well enough to go back to school. I hope it is a quick recovery, because he is used to school and being home with Mommy and Daddy, and I think he may not like being with Grandma all day, but we’ll just have to see.
My new job is going well. Not only am I in a new position as the “clinical reporting analyst”, last week I was assigned the additional tasks of being the Testing Coordinator for the entire project! Whew, talk about adding to the work load. Two more weeks until my first trip to Kansas City for a week of training. Laurie is not looking forward to me being gone, it is going to be tough on her to say the least.
Monday, August 22, 2005 6:51 AM
Big news; well at least for us. I got a new position within the hospital. I have been promoted to “programmer/analyst” on the Cerner Medical Systems implementation. I hope it turns out to be the right move and the right decision for me. Just could not wait to hear from the heart surgeon, they seemed to be dragging their feet. I actually found out today, and I start tomorrow. Going to have to play a lot of catch up, but it will be interesting.
Date unknown
Had to update on two “firsts” for Collin the other day. He told me his first joke on the way home from school Wednesday. It was a knock-knock joke, and he didn’t get it exactly right, but he had the basics of it. He thought that was great!
His other first was his first phone conversation with a “girl friend”. He buddy Kinsley from school called to RSVP for his birthday, and they were on the phone for about 20 minutes! She is his ‘girl’ at school, they still pal around together. She is very excited about coming to our house for his birthday party!
Monday, March 28, 2005
Well, two weeks since my last post. Not a whole lot new to report really. We are all feeling pretty good right now, no one is down with a cold or the flu, so that is good news.
I was on-call last week for work, and that sucked. I got 7 pages in one night! No other night was as bad as that, but I got bothered 4 nights with on-call issues. I only had to drive in once, but still it was not much fun.
Laurie’s birthday is this week, so drop her an e-mail and tell her happy birthday. HINT: her e-mail addy is listed on the bottom of the column< ——to the left
Well, short post, but it is time to put the boys in the tub!
Monday, March 14, 2005
I am beat down. Laurie had her scrapbooking scrap this weekend, so it was the boys and myself I did get some relief as they went to the Fritzsche’s for the afternoon on Saturday.
Sunday, March 6, 2005
Another weekend at it’s end
I don’t want to go to work tomorrow. I’d rather stay home and play on my computer, let’s see; I’d like to play a hour or two of Call of Duty, maybe list some items on e-bay, scan some photos, work on my web pages, post an entry on my IT blog..hmmm..see, I could keep busy all day. I really need to catch up on some sleep, I think I have a standing sleep deficient that is catching up with me.
We took the boys out to Alliance to the “Wadda Hot Dogg” stand in Alaince yesterday, we had a good time and the dogs were great!
Thursday, March 3, 2005
No update in a while. Laurie is finally feeling better, which is making all of us feel better! You know what they say “when momma ain ‘t happy, no one is happy..”
W00t! W00t! I bought a new truck! Let me revise that..I bought a sweet ass new truck and I bought it on e-bay! Ha! Got a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, Quad cab, SLT! It is black, V8, fully loaded! It is easily the nicest vehicle I have ever had. I found it on e-bay, a dealer in Massillon had it, so I went and drove it and did the “buy it now” got a GREAT price on it, actually less than a 2004 model! I will get some photos up this weekend.
Boy are doing very well. Let’s see…Dylan is working on potty training, talking up a storm these days. Collin continues to amaze us with his smarts, and his art skills. I have more of his work to post online.
Tuesday, February 15, 2005 10:53 PM
Take a look at this article. This could be bad news for all of us.
Saturday, February 12, 2005 7:38 PM
We had a great day today. Laurie had lost her wallet, but luckily a good citizen turned it into the manager at Marc’s. They even called our bank and told them they found it, so our bank automatically cancelled her bank cards! I was very happy to hear that, seems as though Charter One has someone good in charge of their IS team and general operations. Since that German bank (?) bought them they have really changed.
Anyway, I digress; we went to Ravenna and picked that up, then headed to Chapel Hill Mall. The boys got to go in the ‘jumpoline’ and on the Merry Go Round. We had lunch their and checked out the fountain, then home for nap. We all rested and then went outside and played, cleaned up the garage and had a fire in the patio fire pit that Mom gave us for X-Mas. I gave baths and boys are in front of their movie.
Friday, February 11, 2005 5:20 AM
6:25 pm I say hooray for this lady!
Take a look at this guys article/rant about Windows. Seems he is a bit frustrated with Windows. I have decided to change my whole mind set about Windoze…if the OS was stable, secure, free from virus and malware..why I’d probably not have a job! So, in one sense the Evil Empire keeps me gainfully employed!
Tuesday, February 8, 2005 5:55 AM
Posted a ton of photos from December 2004. These were all prints; I have misplaced all the digital photos with all of my recent server and pc reloads and issues.
Thursday, February 3, 2005 8:41 PM
Nice, did you read this article yet? Geez, no wonder everyone hates Americans! If this was some Iraqi saying this about Americans we’d just be outraged!
Wednesday, February 2, 2005 4:53 AM
Things are slowly starting to stabilize with my freaky server. I’ll start putting some photos up as I have time.
What do you think about this layout? I am working with CSS finally, so I can change this pretty easy. I am not 100% sold on this design, so let me know what you think.
The boys are doing well, although they have both been sick off and on for the past 2 weeks. Little Dylan has had a speech explosion! He is talking like crazy now, it is almost as if overnight his brain made the connection to his tongue and now he can talk. He is able to say pretty much anything we ask him, very exciting news around here!
Sunday, January 30, 2005 11:04 PM

on Mother’s Day, especially after the rough week she has had with Dylan!
She is already about to go stir crazy from being locked up since Wednesday
and now this!
One really great thing about this week has been that Collin
and I have gotten to spend a lot of quality time together! We have gone
to the park, out to eat, shopping for Mother’s Day gifts and we even
finally made it to the theater to see “Robots” last night!

Whew, it is amazing, not sitting beside Ed my first day and I’m already happier! I haven’t had to hear him bitch about one thing today! Hopefully I won’t hear him at all! Enough about Ed, he’s not worth talking about anymore.
Good news! We changed Collin back to his normal formula and he slept nearly all night last night, and the few times he did wake up he wasn’t screaming his head off like he was in a lot of pain. He woke a few times whimpering, but went back to sleep pretty quickly. I really hope that he just didn’t like that other formula we were trying and that now that he is back on his regular formula he’ll start sleeping again! If that turns out to the be the case I’ll feel like a jerk, all this hassle and pain for him over us trying to save a few bucks on formula!
Not feeling well.

Ah, my last full day of sitting beside Ed! Can’t believe it! I can’t wait until I no longer have to listen to his reletless prattling on about the drama in his life. I guess my new cube won’t be ideal, but it will be a hell of a lot better than where I am now.
Weird: my supervisor, Kevin, who is often a dick and a pain in the ass is in the hospital. What’s weird? I feel nothing about it towards him, I guess it is because I think if I were sick he wouldn’t care a bit. He always puts on this cold, fuck you, attitude about everyone around him. Basically; “we work together and that’s it”. He refuses to sign the birthday/get well cards that get sent around the department. I’ve seen him do it, tell people to get the stupid card out of his face, like he would actually sign it! I mean, I hope he’s ok and all that, but I really feel nothing about him being sick…well, except that he is not here all week! I know that sounds cold, but that’s the way I feel.

Ah the Monday morning blues. Actually I try not to be negative about Mondays, but in general they do suck. Coming back to work after a couple of days off, not really days of rest, but days off. We actually did get to rest on Saturday, it was great. We were supposed to go to Kent for the Halloween party, but when it came down to crunch time we decided to stay home. We stayed in and just enjoyed each other. We had some wine and some time alone! It was great! And, we got a whole night of sleep…that was so awesome. You just never realize how badly you need sleep until you don’t have it anymore!
Collin is doing great, except for sleeping at night. He had another terrible night last night. Only slept a few hours and then was up off & on all night, he just wakes up crying out for now reason. Some times his pacifer and some soft words will comfort him, other times, he just is so upset that nothing will calm him down and he is wide awake. The odd thing is that when he stayed with Laurie’s parent’s this weekend he slept almost all night for them. Wonder why he’s not waking up for them, even last weekend they said he slept pretty good. I wonder if he is just spoiled by us and depends on us to comfort him at night in order to sleep! I’m starting some posts at some parenting forums to see what others have to say.
I got registered for my CCNA class today! Ya!! I’m psyched, can’t wait to get that started. It is going to be a lot of extra work on my part as well as Laurie’s, but in the end we’ll both be better off. It will help me get a better, higher paying job which will help the family out. Especially since Laurie is talking about giving up teaching! Yes, you read this right, Laurie, after 9 years of teaching is considering a career change. I’m behind her on this, the only bad thing is that it will probably hurt us financially…which is why I need to get all the technical training I can under my belt before she makes some type of change.
Now I’m getting mentally & physically tired due to lack of sleep. Time to sign off for today.

Friday, Friday!! Finally, actually this week has gone fairly quickly. I’m exited to have a weekend with no plans! The weather is going to be bad so I won’t be able to work in the yard…oh bummer…
;-) We are going to take Collin to our pumpkin farm that Laurie and I have been visiting for years now, take some photos, spend some family time together. Other than that we have some shopping to do and house cleaning to do.
I finally found out that I am being moved back to the Automotive side of tech support! I am pretty happy about it, although I did’t get my old cube back, and that sucks. I really wanted to sit by my friend, Lisa again, but I’ll take what I can get. It gets me off of the OEConnection customer support and away from my current neighbor who drives me crazy! I’m not even going to go into that again because it is just negative and I’m done with it. I’m sure that once I don’t work with him on a dialy basis and don’t sit near him I’ll get along just fine with him…or not, but it won’t matter anymore.
I’m also excited because I got my check from the company today to pay for my CCNA training! There are certainly some benefits working for a large company! They cut me a check for $1600 today! I hope to complete my CCNA training by the end of February and get the hell out of tech support! I really would like to move to Bell & Howell’s IS team or OEC’s, but if not, I’m looking for a new job as soon as I can.
Well, I really should get back to work and try to get something done!
Peace,
T. Shawn

Too much time has passed since my last entry. Time, time, does anyone have enough time? I know I don’t. Last week was Brent’s wedding in Los Angeles! What a trip, very busy, lot’s of partying with friends. The plane ride was actually not bad, but I did learn a valuable lesson; if I can avoid connecting flights from now on I will! It was such a pain in the ass to have to change planes, sit in the airport and wait, get on the next plane etc etc! Would be nice to move up to first class as well, but don’t see that happening soon.
Brent & Kelly’s wedding was great, I was in it which was cool, the ceremony was way too long for me, but that’s just me I guess. The even was catered by Kelly’s mom, it was awesome, lot’s of good food, and lot’s and lot’s of drinking! Got to see some old friends which was cool. Matt & Kutty were there, Curtis (from KSU), Bren’t old roomie BDC was there…of course we had a big smoke fest out back and that really set the mood…Laurie even joined us and had a good time. We danced until the reception shut down, then we headed back to the hotel bar…of course by then I was F’d up and didn’t last too long at the bar. Laurie stayed out with the gang until the bar closed, she was feeling really rough when I woke her up at 7 a.m. so we could catch a ride to LAX!
We missed Colling terribly while we were gone, the thing that bad it not so bad was that I was extremely busy/drunk the whole time so it was not that bad for me. He stayed with the Frizsche Grandparent’s, they had a great time with him and asked when we’d be leaving him again. I’m really happy that they like him so much and that they like to babysit him, it really helps us out.
Collin is crawling…well, very nearly. He is up on his hands and knees, and can do a couple “steps” before he falls over! He also has his first 2 teeth through, bottom center! It is really cool to see the changes taking place with him! He also really shocked us on Tuesday, he crawled up to the chair at mom’s and stood himself up! He did it again in his room, I think that is amazing for him being only 6 months old! I wonder if he’ll walk early, he certainly has the strength.
Enough for today.
